Chair of Hydrological Modeling and Water Resources

Climate variability and land use changes affect our water resources and their quality. The Chair of Hydrological Modeling and Water Resources develops and applies methods to quantify water resources availability at various scales using novel simulation approaches and model evaluation schemes. Untypical for modellers, we perform our own monitoring campaigns and incorporate hydrological and hydrochemical information to achieve a high degree of process representation in our simulation tools to increase their reliability for future projections of climate and land use changes. A special focus of the group’s research is on karst water resources.

Here you will find information about the team members and research projects.
