In many countries, karst groundwater is the dominant or even the only available source of fresh water. In our project, we want to provide better understanding of soil and epikarst processes. For that, we plan to establish a large monitoring network that records soil moisture dynamics at a high spatial and temporal resolution at 5 karst experiments laboratories across the globe (D, ES, UK, USA, AU).
